Coloured hair is entirely different from normal natural hair.
Colouring or dyeing your hair means your hair is exposed to chemicals
and its reactions. Hair becomes weak and fragile. So it is very
important to give an extra care and nutrition to it. Here are some
most important tips which will help you to keep your coloured hair
healthy.
1. Trim your hair once in every six weeks to keep its ends with out
splitting. A trimmed split less hair is very important when it is
coloured with chemicals. Split ends will lead to thinner hair which
will not retain the colour for long time and the result is repeated
colouring and resulting unhealthy hair.

2. Usually we use creams to protect our skin from sunlight and its
radiation. Not only the skin needs protection from the sun but also
your hair needs special care from the exposure to the sun. You can do
it by using hair creams which provides protection against sun and its
radiation. In addition to it use water based hair care products free
of oils to keep the lustre and to maintain the hair colour for long
period.

3. Coloured hair is dry and fragile than the normal hair. Coloured
hair is devoid of natural moisturising component since the chemicals
used to colour your hair makes it impossible. So use a perfect
moisturising cream on your scalp and hair. Use the cream with luke
warm water and tie your wet hair with a towel and keep it for half an
hour to be absorbed well. Then wash the hair thoroughly with a shampoo
and then you can retain the glitter and health of your hair. Use
moisturiser from the root of the hair to the top

4. Visit for hair care treatment at least once in a week. Never miss
the hair treatment routine.

5. Drink lot of water. Water plays an important role in maintaining
the beauty of the skin and hair. Your hair is the evidence of your
interior health. Therefore make sure to drink water and fruit juice to
keep your body hydrated. This will definitely help to keep your hair
silky and healthy even it is coloured with chemicals.
6. Don’t changes the hair colour frequently. Carefully chose branded
colourers. Frequently dyeing your hair means you are giving frequent
chemical treatment to your hair. Which is very harmful and it will
damage your hair to great extend. So it is very important to reduce
the number of times you dye your hair.
7. Use hair drier carefully. Don’t use the hair straightener and such
hair styling tools frequently. This will make hair dry and withered
which will inturn forms pours in the hair. The hair colour will not
last long in such hairs. So it is advisable to leave hair to dry
naturally and automatically.
8. Choose appropriate shampoo. There are shampoos especially for dyed
hairs. Make sure that you use such specific shampoo according to the
type of your scalp. Choose a gentle shampoo which will keep your hair
shiny and healthy.
