Perspiration and resulting pungent and unpleasant smell causes embarrassment to many.Here are some simple tips to get rid of that problem.
  Sweating is not something embarrassing in itself, but what follows it is an unpleasant odour. This unpleasant smell shows the presence of infection, especially in some specific areas such as underarm. Sweating is a natural way by which body maintains its temperature. Sweating happens as a result of the functioning of sweat glands. When the body works hard and also when it have to face a sultry weather sweat glands works in accordance with metabolic activity of the body and produce sweat. It usually consist of water and some dissolved salts which can react with bacteria and fungi and can cause unpleasant odour. Perspiration is a common activity happens in human body. But the rate of perspiration and the resulting smell varies from person to person. As in every case the food habits is directly linked with perspiration. The sweating rate that is in private areas neck and face is high in those who take spicy food. Drinking too much coffee and obesity are another cause for sweating. Drinking and smoking will also make you more prone to over sweating. The rate of perspiration is high means the chances of bacteria and fungi infection is high and the resulting pungent smell also.
 Drinking lot of water can help to reduce this smell. Reduce your weight in proportion to your height is very important. Consult a doctor and use prescribed soaps and lotions while you bath. Using cotton clothes can also reduce this foul smell out of sweat. Use washed neat and tidy clothes; try to wear loose clothes also. Another important thing is to bath twice a day. And remember to use antifungal antibacterial powders on your private area and also take heed to keep these areas dry after shower. Use deodorants and perfume to keep you fresh. But remember over use of perfume is a signal to others that you have body odour. And also excessive use of perfume can be sometimes irritating for others.
